Louisville, KY – The University of Louisville football team added 14 talented prospects to their 2024 recruiting class on Wednesday, the opening day of the NCAA’s early signing period. Head coach Jeff Brohm expressed his excitement for the incoming recruits, stating, “We’re thrilled to welcome these young men to the Cardinal family. They are a talented group that will make an immediate impact on our program.”

Among the signees are nine offensive players, including one quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, one tight end, and three offensive linemen. The Cardinals also added five defensive players, including one linebacker, two defensive linemen, and two defensive backs.

Four of the signees – running back Isaac Brown, tight end Dylan Mesman, defensive lineman Xavier Porter, and wide receiver Joseph Stone – are rated as four-star performers.

The Cardinals’ recruiting efforts reached a total of eight different states, with four signees coming from Florida and Georgia. The remaining signees hail from Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Ohio, and Texas.

Five of the signees, including Brown, linebacker Trent Carter, defensive end Maurice Davis, offensive lineman Ransom McDermott, and Stone, plan to enroll at Louisville for the spring semester.

Each recruit brings a unique skill set to the Cardinals’ roster, ensuring great competition in practices and games. Head coach Brohm is eager to see how the recruiting class will contribute to the team’s success in the upcoming seasons.
