The No. 22/19 Louisville women’s basketball team is gearing up for a rematch against No. 19/20 Ole Miss in the inaugural ACC/SEC Women’s Challenge presented by Dixie Ultra. Both teams enter the game with 6-1 records and are coming off tournament wins. The game will take place on Wednesday night at 9:15 p.m. ET and will be nationally broadcasted on ESPN.

Louisville had an impressive showing at the Betty Chancellor Classic in Texas, with Nina Rickards and Kiki Jefferson leading the way. Rickards recorded double figures in every game, including a double-double against Alabama. Jefferson had two standout performances, scoring 20 points against Liberty and a season-high 21 points against Gonzaga.

The Cardinals have been dominant in the fourth quarter of their recent victories, outscoring Liberty 26-12 and Gonzaga 22-14. So far this season, Louisville has scored the most points in the fourth quarter, totaling 162.

On the other side, Ole Miss comes into the game with a 6-1 record, winning their last five games. They claimed the Battle 4 Atlantis Championship in the Bahamas after defeating Michigan in the final. The Rebels are efficient at getting to the free throw line, averaging 24.0 attempts per game, and are ranked 25th in the country in blocks per game with 5.4.

This will be the second meeting between Louisville and Ole Miss, with the Cardinals winning their previous matchup in the Sweet 16 last year. Louisville advanced to the Elite Eight with a 72-62 victory, led by Mykasa Robinson, Olivia Cochran, and Morgan Jones.
