Carson Beck 'Studied' Cavinder Twins Before Starting Relationship

Georgia quarterback Carson Back wasn't able to help his team on the field in Thursday's Sugar Bowl, as his elbow injury and resulting surgery kept him on the sideline as the Bulldogs' season ended.

Beck's college career is now over after his decision to declare for the NFL Draft, but even as a future NFL quarterback, he may not be the most well-known half of his relationship.

Beck dates Miami basketball star Hanna Cavinder, who has become a social media superstar with her twin sister Haley. The Cavinder Twins have nearly 1 million followers on each of their own personal Instagram accounts, as well as nearly 350,000 on their joint account. They also have more than 4.5 million followers on TikTok.

The twins have been in the public eye for quite some time, and Hanna revealed that Beck knew about them way before they began their relationship.

During a "Get Ready With Me" video on TikTok, the twins discussed how they are often annoyed when people mistake them for each other.

Hanna explained that Carson had yet to mix the two of them up, but Haley says there's a reason he's able to easily to tell the difference.

“Well, Carson told me he was studying before he ever came [to meet you],” Haley told her system. “He was studying pictures with his mom. Sorry to blast that, Carson.”

Haley then explained that her boyfriend - Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson - called her by her sister's name.

“I got up to his place and we’re hanging out, we’re watching a movie and Jake was very, like a gentleman, obviously our first time ever meeting … and he looks over me and says ‘Hanna,’ I kind of got uncomfortable and I just ignored it,” Haley said about the awkward encounter.

"Then I brought it up as soon as we got more comfortable and were hanging out more," she explained. "He knew he said it but it was just so awkward in the moment.”

Both couples have been able to navigate the awkward moments. Haley and Jake have been together for over a year, and Beck confirmed his relationship with Hanna before the start of the college football season.

The twins are gearing up for their next game after suffering a loss on the road against Louisville on Thursday night. Haley, Hanna and the rest of the Miami Hurricanes will be in ACC action against Virginia Tech on Sunday afternoon at Noon ET.
