Carson Beck’s Reported Break-up With Hanna Cavinder Labeled as Blessing in Disguise

Carson Beck is entering a new chapter—and not just on the football field.

The Miami quarterback reportedly split from influencer and former college basketball star Hanna Cavinder earlier this year.

The pair had been linked throughout the 2023 season, drawing attention both on and off the field.

Now, as Beck prepares for what could be his final year in college football after transferring, the relationship is reportedly over—and some think that’s exactly what he needs.

“I love the no girlfriend part of it for my guy,” said On3’s J.D. PicKell on The Hard Count. “Single Carson Beck, I believe, was the guy who was All-SEC a year ago.”

Statistically, 2024 didn’t go as planned for Beck or the Bulldogs.

Beck dealt with inconsistency, high-pressure matchups, and eventually, an elbow injury that sidelined him late in the season.

Despite entering the season with preseason playoff expectations and earning a No. 2 overall seed, Georgia fell short of its goals—finishing 23-10 after a quarterfinal loss to Notre Dame.

While his numbers were still solid, they didn’t match the breakout campaign many had forecasted.

But now, after some time off to recover and reflect, Beck is getting a rare reset.

“I like the fact that he got out of a place where he underperformed,” PicKell added. “Mentally, [I] hope there’s a reset there a little bit for him.”

As he eyes a full return in 2025 for the Hurricanes, the distractions are fewer and the motivation may be stronger.

He’s now healthy, focused, and expected to be one of the top quarterbacks in the country—without the weight of last season or relationship headlines hanging over him.

“I love everything about this situation for him,” PicKell said.
