Carson Daly Takes Dig at Blake Shelton

After being on The Voice together, Carson Daly and Blake Shelton have a history of poking at each other.  Daly didn't even hesitate to make a comment on Blake Shelton's recent social media post.

There is quite a bit of teasing going on in the world of Country Music right now.  Social media offers artists the chance to give fans a sneak peak of things to come without actually saying what is coming.

Shelton teased fans with his latest social media post and he didn't even say a word.  Shelton is seen sitting at a counter, maybe even in his own kitchen, where he is watching a Post Malone social media post.  The catch is that it seems it is a duo between the two of them, that has yet to be released or announced.

Fans have assumed the title of the song to be "Somebody Pour Me a Drink" but neither artist has confirmed. 

The post got over 1,200 comments with fans sharing their excitement. Comments included, "Yesss release the date!!! Don’t play with us Blake!!! " and "OMG I love this I'm so here for this collab." Post Malone also shared a clip on his Instagram, where Gwen Stefani commented, "Can’t handle this much cool and cute!! Super fan alert !"

Daly didn't miss an opportunity to tease his friend. Daly quipped, "Posty must have lost a bet! "

Truth is that Daly and Shelton are good friends, evidenced by Daly officiating Shelton's wedding to Gwen Stefani.

Although Shelton and Malone may seem like an unusual pairing, fans should recognize Malone's increasing involvement in country music. He recently performed with Brad Paisley at Stagecoach, released "I Had Some Help" with Morgan Wallen and performed two songs at the ACM Awards.

Post Malone has confirmed that a country album is in progress. According to Billboard, he mentioned in a livestream, "Country record is coming. I keep singing a song that we made while I was in Nashville."

If the new song Shelton shared is any indication of Malone's new country album, fans can expect to be singing along to every song and should be eagerly anticipating the release date.
