CBS Sports college football analyst, Aaron Taylor feels the Indiana Hoosiers have one of the best front sevens in all of college football.
The Hoosiers knocked off Oregon in one of the biggest wins from Saturday’s slate of games. Taylor walked away from the game impressed with the way Indiana played in the trenches and decided to make a bold statement while comparing Indiana’s front seven to both Alabama and Georgia.
“That front seven is elite boys,” Taylor said. “They whipped, up front, an Oregon offensive line that I thought was easily the top three in the country. They dominated them up front. Six sacks, tackles for loss, causing fits all over the place. And the offensive line on the other side of the football, running the ball when they needed to. Yes, the crowd noise was a factor, but they didn’t flinch. They didn’t give up a ton of pressures. They gave Mendoza enough time. I’ll say this, when I look at front sevens and I’m watching on tape, Indiana’s front seven is way better than both Alabama’s and Georgia’s.”
The Crimson Tide and the Bulldogs are both known for their dominance in the trenches. Typically, when both programs are at their strongest, they are really talented in the trenches.
