So Neil Lennon has been touting himself around about town again. This time the former Hoops boss has revealed he would like to work in Israel (I know), due to the fact he has worked with people from this country in the past.
Neil is fairly trying to have a go at putting the abysmal trainwreck of a season he oversaw last year behind him. His latest attempt to stay relevant is bizzare to say the least, totally out of the blue and a strange area of interest within the game itself. Considering Neil has not had success anywhere outside of Scotland and the SPFL, no wonder Twitter has been reacting bemused at his current musings.
The Lurgan man will always be a Legend at Paradise, however, Neil has still never actually apologised for his part in a ten-in-a-row season that left us staring into the abyss. Perhaps he would be better served worrying about repairing his relationship with the Celtic Family, as opposed to ruthlessly trying to advertise himself to anyone that will listen.

It’s not overly harsh to instantiate that one of the most hurtful things about Neil was his subservient manner towards the PLC, and “Mr Desmond” in particular. He was a warrior on the field, and stood up against abuse of intolerable levels because he played for Glasgow Celtic. Having said that, his demeanour in his second spell seemed like a husk of the man that had ‘Something Inside So Strong’.
Anyway, in the meantime cast your eye over the reaction to the newest shtick from Lenny…

Neil Lennon claiming he’s had a long standing affinity with Israel is one of the oddest things I’ve heard in some time.
