Chicago Stars FC will be busy during the NWSL’s summer break in July.
Chicago will be one of four clubs competing in the inaugural Teal Rising Cup on July 12 and 15 at CPKC Stadium in Kansas City. Chicago will compete against Brazilian side Corinthians SC on July 12 at 4:30 p.m. CT and that match will be followed by the Brazilian side Palmeiras going against the Kansas City Current.

"The Chicago Stars are excited to participate in this tournament," said Chicago Stars FC general manager Richard Feuz. "Taking on opponents with different playing styles will provide valuable experience that the team can learn from and use to improve our game. We look forward to welcoming Corinthians and Palmeiras to the States."
