The Kansas City Chiefs have officially revealed their roster for this weekend's rookie minicamp.
While this weekend will serve as the first opportunity for drafted players and undrafted free agent signings to get some work in, several players are fighting for a spot on the 90-man roster. The Chiefs are set to host over three dozen players on a tryout basis at a variety of different positions on the offense, defense, and special teams. Any positive impression they can make puts them one step closer to the 90-man offseason roster in Kansas City.
Below you'll find a list of all the players invited for tryouts, organized by position:
Sanders (who played at Ole Miss in 2023) is Oklahoma State's career rushing yards leader by a quarterback. Armstrong previously played at Virginia, where he has career records for passing yards and TDs.
Ayo-Durojaiye is one to watch. He has 310 career carries for 1,569 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Quite the difference in types and styles here. Horton is listed at 5-9 and 173 pounds, while McCarron-Mathisd is 6-foot-7 and 203 pounds.
Spivey didn't ever play with the Bulldogs in 2023 because the NCAA denied his graduate transfer waiver. He previously played for the TCU Horned Frogs.
Cunningham is a big boy. He's listed at 6-foot-5 and 330 pounds.
Watch out for Taylor, who played at Brett Veach and Matt Nagy's alma mater.
Slywka is an insane athlete. He posted a 9.45 RAS score during his pro day workout.
Gubner is one to watch here as the 2023 Big Sky Defensive player of the Year.
Rauschenberg earned AAC Specialist of the Year honors in 2023.
