Jeremiah Smith is used to making waves on the football field. Now the Ohio State Buckeyes receiver, regarded by most to be the best in the country, is grabbing some attention off it.

On Thursday, Smith posted a series of photos on Instagram posing in a fashion shoot. In one of the pictures, he stands in a group with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

“This one hits different,” Smith captioned the post with a fire emoji. “@americaneagle x @trukolorsbrand by Travis Kelce second drop is out now #AEPartner.”

Kelce, known more for being Taylor Swift’s fiance than a four-time First-Team All-Pro, offered some words of encouragement to the college football superstar.

“LFG! Keep ballin bro,” Kelce commented with four fire emojis.

Through four games as a sophomore, Smith has come down with 28 receptions for 396 yards and four touchdowns. He accounted for eight grabs for 81 yards and a score in Ohio State’s win over the Washington Huskies last week.

Last season, Smith shattered all of Cris Carter’s Buckeyes freshman records, registering 76 receptions for 1,315 yards and 15 touchdowns. He pulled in a 56-yard catch on a third-and-11 late in the fourth quarter of the College Football Playoff national title game against Notre Dame, helping seal the win for head coach Ryan Day’s squad.

For his efforts, Smith was tabbed as a First-Team All-American by USA Today and On3’s Offensive Freshman of the Year. The accolades served as proof that he lived up to his No. 1 overall ranking in the 2024 recruiting class.
