The Bengals signed safety Shaquan Loyal and waived cornerback Micah Abraham on Monday morning.

Loyal is an undrafted rookie out of Rutgers University. He ran a 4.58 40-yard dash and was Dane Brugler's 80th ranked safety during the pre-draft process.

The 5-foot-11, 202 pound safety had 176 (nine for loss), two sacks and four interceptions in 43 career games for Rutgers. He joins a safety room that includes Geno Stone, Jordan Battle, Tycen Anderson and Daijahn Anthony.

Abraham spent the final 12 games of the 2024 regular season on Cincinnati’s practice squad after signing with the team in October.
