The 6-foot-2 tackle is the third defensive lineman to commit to Cincinnati, totaling 15 overall recruits in the class. With the college football season just about two months away, the Bearcats have added several talents to their roster.
Rulo, a Belleville, Illinois native, will play out his senior season with Belleville East High School. Head Coach Scott Satterfield has put together the 58th-best 2026 class in the country.
Last season, the Bearcats finished 5-7 and placed 11th in the Big 12 Conference. Entering its third season competing in the Big 12, Cincinnati is yet to finish above .500.
UC went 3-9 in 2023 in Satterfield’s first season leading the charge. The team has struggled in conference play the past two seasons, with an overall record of 4-14 against Big 12 opponents.
Heading into the 2025 season, the program will kick off its campaign against the University of Nebraska at home on Aug. 28.
