UC athletics earned a nice honor from the Big 12 this week. Cincinnati boasts the 2025 Big 12 Sports Medicine Staff of the Year.

The group was voted to the honor by the rest of the 15 Big 12 schools and is led by Senior Associate AD of Sports Medicine Aaron Himmler and overseen by Chief of Staff Brad Pike.

"I couldn't be prouder of our University of Cincinnati sports medicine team for being named the Big 12 Sports Medicine Staff of the Year," Pike said in a press release. "This recognition is a testament to the tireless dedication, expertise, and care our staff brings to every student-athlete. Under the outstanding leadership of Aaron Himmler, this group has set the standard for excellence and teamwork in collegiate sports medicine."

Cincinnati is winding down the 2024-25 school sports seasons over the next month. They have cared for over 400 athletes across that time.
