Cleveland Browns took a major step to beginning their 2024 NFL season today even though the 2023 season is just a few months in the rear view.

The NFL calendar wastes no time and the Browns begin their voluntary offseason workout program today when teams with a returning head coach get back at it.

Cleveland will have these voluntary workouts with not every player expected to be in attendance.

This is a chance for the Browns to get everyone back in Berea and that includes their free agency additions, as well as their trade gem WR Jerry Jeudy. Before we know it, the NFL Draft will be taking place and the Browns will be welcoming a new rookie class into town.

The rookie minicamp can be held either May 3-6 or 10-13 and the Browns have yet to say when they will hold theirs.

While the Browns would love for Deshaun Watson to be throwing at voluntary camp, that won’t happen and they have four quarterbacks on the roster for a reason. Dorian Thompson-Robinson, Jameis Winston, and Tyler Huntley are more inclined to be involved during voluntaries.

Football is back and while there is no score being checked, teams are preparing for when the lights turn on and just that is happening.
