Fox Sports is making serious changes to its content for the 2025 football season, which includes partnering with Barstool Sports.

Last week, Fox Sports confirmed that it has agreed to a content deal with Barstool. Dave Portnoy and several prominent personalities for Barstool will help FS1's coverage for college football and college basketball.

As part of this deal, Portnoy will make regular appearances on "Big Noon Kickoff." The Barstool Sports founder is amped up about that opportunity.

"Everybody at Barstool is super excited to partner with the FOX Sports Family," Portnoy said. "In our two-decade history, we’ve never had the chance to work with so much talent and resources. We can’t wait to collab and bring our voice to FOX Sports’ airwaves. See ya soon in Columbus."

So, how does the current group of talent at Fox Sports feel about this merger? Earlier this week, Colin Cowherd shared his thoughts.

Cowherd made it clear that he's more than OK with Fox Sports teaming up with Barstool.

"My take is, of the three things they were brought into Fox for, I think 'Big Noon' and digital were more important," Cowherd said, via Awful Announcing. "My guess is, based on what I’m hearing about Portnoy, 'Pardon My Take' guys, they’ll do a two-hour show and then they’ll run it again as a replay. So, that’s not necessarily a dynamic lead-in, but I think it is a cost-effective measure and it makes us younger on FS1, which I’m for."

Cowherd also suggested that "Pardon My Take" should be a daily show on FS1. The network has openings after cutting ties with "The Facility" and "Speak."
