College football bowl season is in full swing, which means players and coaches have one final chance to end the season on a high note.

It also gives fans one last chance to see their favorite teams in person. Unfortunately, bowl season brings an added complication for fans who want to see their team as the holiday season is also in full swing - as team play in locations all over the country.

With Christmas and New Years on the books, fans have to choose between witnessing their teams play, attending family events and saving a bit of money for the holidays. That conundrum was on full display this afternoon during the GameAbove Sports bowl.

Just minutes head of kick off at the GameAbove Sports Bowl between the Pitt Panthers and Toledo Rockets, there was just a spattering of fans in attendance. A photo from Toledo Blade reporter Dave Briggs showed the lack of attendance at the game.

"Minutes away from Toledo-Pitt in the GameAbove Sports Bowl. Catch the fever!!!" he said sarcastically.

As for the actual game, fans have been treated to a back-and-forth affair. Toledo opened the game with a touchdown before Pitt went on a 12-0 run before the Rockets answered with their own 14-0 run.

The Panthers took over in the second half with an 18-0 run to make it a 30-20 game before Toledo returned an interception for a touchdown in the third quarter to make it a 30-27 game, which is where things stand with just two minutes left to play.
