College Football Playoff Rankings Prediction: What Will the Final CFP Top 25 Look Like?

I've been screaming all week that Alabama is going to get in.

It beat the soon-to-be two-seed SEC Champion Georgia, and it beat South Carolina which JUST beat Clemson last week. I assumed there was no way the committee could rank Clemson above South Carolina, or SMU above Clemson, which would mean Alabama is in, and SMU out. 

That probably changed with the way SMU mounted that late comeback to tie the ACC Championship in the final moments.

Had Clemson blasted the Mustangs, this might be different. But now, here's how I THINK this will work. 

The committee won't mess with the pecking order of teams in last week's rankings that weren't in a conference championship. However, what it will (probably) do is jack up all the conference champs. 

It won't move teams down, it'll push teams up which might force a few down - semantics. So yes, it'll move Clemson ahead of SMU, but it'll do that with Boise State and Arizona State, too. 

Now, I could be very, VERY wrong, and watch Alabama gets the call after all, but ...
