The ESPN "College GameDay" crew has a jam-packed schedule for the first round of the College Football Playoff, but their plans for this weekend were up in the air.
The annual Army-Navy game will take place at 3 p.m. ET Saturday at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland.
While the traditional game will take the spotlight ahead of the first round of the College Football Playoff, the ESPN "College GameDay" show will not be in attendance.
According to ESPN vice president of communications Bill Hofheimer, "College GameDay" will not have a live show Saturday. The crew will instead prepare for the first round of the College Football Playoff, where they will have a doubleheader beginning Dec. 20.
No @CollegeGameDay this weekend as our crew plans for two #CFBPlayoff First Round shows next week, but huge congrats to ESPN's CGD on an amazing regular season - a trip to Ireland, the #Calgorithm, FG kicking contests, great guest pickers, and more.
