Colorado will tip off the campaign with an exhibition against Grace (Ind.) College inside the CU Events Center on October 19, then opens the regular season at home on November 3 in a Big Sky showdown with Montana State. That’s followed by another back-to-back home matchup on November 8 versus Eastern Washington, marking a return to familiar territory after last season’s meeting.
The Buffaloes will continue the homestand into mid-November, welcoming Providence College, helmed by former CU assistant Kim English, for the first meeting in a newly minted home-and-home series. That contest is sandwiched between visits from Alabama State (November 17) and UC Davis (November 21).
Their first off-campus set comes in late November at the Acrisure Series stop in Palm Desert, California, where the Buffs will face two yet-to-be-announced opponents November 27–28. The Buffaloes then return to Boulder to host California Baptist on December 1, before making their first true road trip of the season on December 6 for the storied hardwood reboot of the Rocky Mountain Showdown at Colorado State in Fort Collins.
Colorado finishes its non-conference campaign with three of its final four games at the CU Events Center: matchups against UTSA (December 13) and Portland State (December 17), and a marquee Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Series home tilt with Stanford on December 20.
The non-con schedule concludes just before Big 12 play with a December 28 matchup against Northern Colorado, co-champions of the Big Sky’s regular season in ‘24–25.
The Buffs will take to these home court opportunities to firm cohesion, sharpen rotations, and build foundation before Big 12 play arrives.
With tangible early advantages and key tests built-in, this home-dominant schedule could be Colorado’s springboard toward mid-major wins and deeper postseason relevance.
