Jake Paul gets Christmas jab from Conor McGregor. On Christmas Day, McGregor couldn’t help but take a shot at Jake Paul.

Despite being a huge family man with four kids, the UFC superstar didn’t spend all of his holiday time focused on his loved ones.

‘Notorious’ took to social media to poke fun at Jake Paul’s broken jaw, which he suffered in last week’s fight against Anthony Joshua.

When the YouTuber-turned-boxer posted about undergoing surgery after the first knockout loss of his 12-2 boxing career, McGregor replied: “Fair play! Well done.”

Jake Paul spent part of Christmas updating fans on his recovery, posting a message about his health.

“God is great,” the 28-year-old posted.

“Broken jaw, but brain and spine all clear. Never been more motivated. Merry Christmas to all around the world. Never stop trying to be great. You are guaranteed 100% failure if you don’t try.”

The 37-year-old MMA star didn’t hold back, poking fun at Paul’s double broken jaw, which has left him eating only liquid foods.

“Indeed! God is great! Enjoy your Christmas smoothies, bro,” McGregor posted in a tweet that was later deleted.

When is Conor McGregor fighting next?

Conor McGregor hasn’t set foot inside the Octagon since breaking his leg at UFC 264 back in July 2021.

The former dual-weight champion is eyeing a return next year, with hopes of fighting on the UFC White House card scheduled for June 14.

Michael Chandler, who has long campaigned for a bout against McGregor, looks to be the leading candidate to face him on his return. However, nothing has been confirmed yet.

Dana White is expected to start finalising the card in February, and fans will be eagerly awaiting news of whether McGregor will feature and who he might be up against.
