Cowboys Celebrate Conference Championship with Dallas Stars

The Cowboys posted a hilarious clip of starting center Cooper Beebe in pure euphoria to celebrate the win.

Beebe has been extremely invested in following the Stars' playoff run this season. The Cowboys reposted a status where he was praising the Dallas goalkeeper Jake Oettinger, saying he's the "best goalie I've ever seen."

The clip of Beebe hyping up the Stars' faithful originally came from Tuesday night's 3-1 victory that put Dallas up three games to two over Winnipeg. The Jets answered with a dominant Game 6 in Canada that forced Saturday's Game 7 in Dallas.

Beebe was joined by nearly the entire offensive line room to watch Game 5 in a suite and cheer for the Stars. 

This is the Stars' third consecutive trip to the conference finals. They made the Stanley Cup Final in 2020, but lost in six games to the Tampa Bay Lightning. The franchise's lone Stanley Cup title came in 1999.

The Dallas Mavericks, who also play in the AAC in downtown Dallas, reached the NBA Finals last season after a Western Conference championship series berth in 2022. Those runs ended in losses, with their last league championship coming in 2011.

The Texas Rangers, who play in their games at Globe Life Field just a Joe Milton-throw away from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, are the team with the most recent postseason success, winning the World Series in 2023.

Then there's the Cowboys ... and their five Super Bowl titles.

Because of the influence of "America's Team" on the city's culture - especially during their run in the '90s of three Super Bowl wins in five seasons - many residents will still claim Dallas as a football town.

But those who aren't young enough to remember - who were born in '96 and going on 30 years old - may beg to differ.
