Midfielder Petar Sucic will face a “trial by fire” at the San Siro in Inter Milan’s Serie A opener against Torino.

This is the view in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.

Inter Milan take on Torino in Serie A. And summer signing Petar Sucic will reportedly get his chance in the Nerazzurri starting eleven.

Midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu will be serving a one-match suspension.

Therefore, Sucic will be part of the starting midfield trio in his very first Serie A match as an Inter player.

So far, Sucic has impressed with his performances for Inter. The Croat, who joined the Nerazzurri in June, has featured at the Club World Cup and in preseason friendlies.

When he has gotten on the pitch, the 21-year-old has not shied away from the ball.

Sucic has both athleticism and technical ability. This has allowed him to give Inter’s play a dynamic and proactive edge in midfield.

However, Sucic has never played in a stadium like the San Siro for Inter.

Therefore, tomorrow’s Serie A opener will be a big tests for the Croatian international. He has definitely shown that he possesses quality, but now must prove that he can use it on the biggest stages.
