Jack Crowley, the Irish and Munster rugby outhalf, has stated that his contract situation remains unresolved despite recent confidence expressed by the Munster coaching staff.

He is currently considering a substantial offer from Leicester Tigers, which creates a conflict with his desire to continue to play for Ireland, as the British Rugby Football Union (IRFU) generally does not select overseas-based players.

Crowley emphasizes that his decision will involve carefully evaluating all factors, including his ambition to add to his 24 international caps.

He also addressed the online feud with fellow out-half Sam Prendergast, stating that their relationship is one of mutual respect and competition, not animosity, and that both are focused on the team's success rather than individual battles.

The Irish-born star began playing rugby with Bandon; while playing for the U18 side, they won the Munster under-18 and All-Ireland U18 Cup, with Crowley scoring 15 points to win against Skerries.

He played senior rugby at Bandon firstly as a scrum half before moving to fly half, where he guided them to the semifinal of the Munster Senior Cup.

Crowley captained Badon and scored in their quarter-final replay win against Glenstal Abbey, who were the defending champions.

He joined Munster rugby in the 2020/2021 season and made his senior competitive debut against Ulster.

Crowley joined the senior squad on a two-year deal in 2021-2022 and made the first start for Munster against Ospreys, then did a contract extension in 2022-2027.

During the 2022-2023 season, Crowley scored a drop goal against Leinster in the semis of URC and won the Young Men’s Rugby Player 2023 awards. He received his first senior call-up for Ireland in the 2022 Autumn Nation series against Fiji.
