The new details emerged through a report from Us Weekly, which cited court filings laying out how Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos want to handle parenting responsibilities.

The documents state, “The parents of the children are separated. The appointment of the parents as joint managing conservators would be in the best interest of the children.

“It is in the best interest of the children that [Prescott and Ramos] be appointed joint managing conservators of the children.”

That language points to a shared parenting structure, with both sides seeking formal joint responsibility moving forward.

The custody filing matters even more because it confirms the relationship had already broken down before this latest legal step.

It is not an isolated legal move, but part of the formal process that followed the end of their engagement.

So while the split is the headline development, the documents show the more important issue now is how Prescott and Ramos will structure life for their daughters after the breakup.
