Dana White is on track to promote another blockbuster boxing match for the second straight year.

The UFC CEO stepped into the boxing world last September, promoting Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford, and has been busy ever since.

He’s also launched Zuffa Boxing, hosting a number of smaller events at the UFC Apex in the time since.

Dana White lands role as Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua promoter

Dana White was in Newark, New Jersey, ahead of UFC 328 when the news broke.

After a chaotic moment at the press conference where Khamzat Chimaev kicked Sean Strickland, Dana made his way to a local cigar bar for some downtime.

There, he joined MMA influencer Nina Drama for an hour-long livestream on KICK.

During their chat, White casually dropped that he’d be promoting what’s expected to be the biggest boxing match of 2026 between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.

“This is the busiest year of my career. I’m gonna be traveling everywhere,” White said.

“I’m focused on Zuffa Boxing hardcore this year, signing all these guys and putting on great fights.

“We did a deal with Sky in the UK. There will be great fights on Sky.”

Dana White’s ongoing dispute with Eddie Hearn

Eddie Hearn is unlikely to be pleased about Dana White taking the lead on promoting Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua.

Hearn has been involved with Joshua since he turned professional back in 2013, guiding him through every step of his career.

That same connection extended to Conor Benn until Benn made the switch to Zuffa Boxing earlier this year.

Turki Alalshikh, who owns the rights to Fury and Joshua’s Netflix super fight, often brings in various high-profile promoters like White and Hearn to handle different aspects of his events.

It hasn’t been confirmed yet whether Hearn has signed off on White handling promotion duties for Joshua’s next bout.
