The Indiana Fever were widely regarded as one of the top teams in the WNBA throughout the 2025 season, despite several setbacks under head coach Stephanie White.
Indiana found a way to earn a playoff series victory against the Atlanta Dream. The Fever defeated one of the best teams in the WNBA, which featured Brittney Griner, Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray.
White and her team accomplished this success while Caitlin Clark, Sophie Cunningham and several other players were out of the lineup with injuries.
While those players were ruled out, Aliyah Boston showed out for the Indiana Fever.
On Friday, Boston was named to the All-WNBA Second Team after the Fever's season concluded.
After the release of the announcement, Boston's former college basketball coach with the South Carolina Gamecocks, Dawn Staley, sent a message to the Fever star.
"You are so deserving of this and more," Staley said. "That MVP season is loading and it's yours. I'm claiming it."
