South Carolina women's basketball head coach Dawn Staley has consistently proven to be one of the best coaches in the sport.

Staley recently led South Carolina to the national title game after defeating some of the most talented teams in the NCAA Tournament.

After the season, where the Gamecocks lost to the UConn Huskies in the national title game, Staley took some time away from the court.

Adding another milestone to her resume, she released her own book, "Uncommon Favor."

Upon the release, Staley sent a copy to several basketball legends, including NBA icon Magic Johnson. Johnson, happy with the gesture, wrote on X, "Thank you Coach @dawnstaley for gifting me a copy of your new book Uncommon Favor! Congratulations and keep blessing the world."

Now, within minutes of this post from the NBA legend, Staley thanked her back: "It’s all love Magic!! Thank you for your leadership in every space you have touch! Keep leading! Keep smiling! Keep being magically you!!!

According to Dawn Staley, her book "Uncommon Favor" describes the success and opportunities she's earned, reflecting on her journey from Philadelphia to a college basketball player, to a WNBA star, to a championship-winning head coach at South Carolina.

During her time with the South Carolina Gamecocks, Dawn Staley has cemented her legacy in the college basketball landscape as one of the greatest to grace the sidelines.

Since taking over as the head coach at South Carolina in 2008, Staley has led the Gamecocks to three national titles, seven Final Four appearances, nine SEC regular-season titles and nine SEC Tournament titles.
