Eagles could benefit from signing former DB while sticking it to NFC East rival

Wallace started his NFL career with the Eagles as a fourth-round pick to the team during the 2020 NFL Draft. He played three seasons with the team as he started seven of the 45 games he appeared in. Wallace finished with 64 tackles, two pass deflections, one tackle for loss, and one fumble recovery in the midnight green uniforms.

Could Wallace be able to help the Eagles in 2025 while also having some fun with the Giants?

There is some familiarity with the Eagles and Wallace besides the obvious fact that he played there for three years. Two of those seasons Nick Sirianni was his head coach and Wallace played bigger roles on special teams and defense under him.

Wallace could come in and play multiple roles on defense. The Eagles could have him line up at safety while playing a hybrid role at nickel corner, depending on where Cooper DeJean plays. Philly's secondary could use all the help they can with the recent struggles in finding a starting CB2.

Another aspect of signing Wallace that could help the Eagles is intel. Wallace is coming from the Giants, one of the Eagles' biggest rivals. While it may not mean much since the Eagles have won seven of their last eight matches against the Giants, any information on their defense would be beneficial to know.

It's honestly a win-win situation for the Eagles. They get a cheap, reliable defensive back to help the secondary while getting a competitive advantage on the Giants.
