Not much should be read into that because it isn't anything new. Every NFL fan knows Roseman is one of the most aggressive general managers in the league and will do whatever it takes to get the job done.
The final roster certainly shows signs that more work could be on the horizon. What are the telling signs?
First, there are 11 offensive linemen which is quite high for a football team. Some teams might have eight or nine to have a couple of swing tackles and guards as backups. The Eagles interestedly decided to carry more than 10.
There are only five edge rushers, which doesn't seem like enough. It's been a position that has been under some criticism, as the backups have not stepped up as some thought, including Ojulari and Okoronkwo. While they are on the roster, it doesn't mean Roseman isn't going to make calls for an edge rusher.
If CB2 ends up continuing to be a problem, that could be a position to watch out for. The Eagles are carrying six, which was expected, as everyone will be watching Jackson, Ringo, and Bennett to see which one emerges as the top performer by the end of the season. Jackson will most likely start in Week 1, but that can change quickly.
There is still for Roseman to make some moves and add more talent to the roster. While it may be final today, it might not be tomorrow.
