The Philadelphia Eagles are set to host UCLA pass rusher Laiatu Latu.
According to Geoff Mosher of "Inside the Birds," Latu will meet with the Eagles in Philly for one of their official top 30 visits ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft

Latu had 13 sacks last year and was Pac 12 DPOY.
Given that Haason Reddick is expected to be traded soon, it would make sense that the Eagles are pretty interested in a defender like Latu.
Latu is easily a Day 1 draft pick following a fascinating collegiate career.
The Sacramento native played his first two seasons at Washington before suffering a preseason neck injury in the spring ahead of his sophomore year.
Doctors suggested that Latu medically retire and he did.
After two years away from football, Latu made an incredible comeback and transferred to UCLA
He never missed a game in his two seasons with the Bruins as he racked up 85 tackles, 35 tackles for loss and 23.5 sacks.
In 2023 he led the nation in tackles for loss per game (1.8) and ranked fourth in sacks per game (1.08). Additionally, his 21.5 tackles for loss last fall were the most by any player in the nation last year.
Latu was recognized for his achievements and received the Lombardi Award, given to college football's best defensive lineman. He was named the Pac-12 Pat Tillman Defensive Player of the Year for his impressive performance.
Over the last few weeks, Latu has only continued to prove that he's a solid Round 1 option after showing off his elite athleticism at the Senior Bowl, NFL Combine and Pro Day.

At 6-foot-5 and 259 pounds, Latu clocked a speedy 4.64-second 40-yard time and posted a 32-inch vertical jump in Indianapolis.
The Eagles hold the No. 22 overall pick in the first round of the draft this year.
If Latu's still on the board there's a good chance that they won't let him get away.
