Early Point Spread Released for No. 7 Alabama vs. Auburn

Auburn will travel to Tuscaloosa to face Alabama in the Iron Bowl to close out the regular season on Nov. 30.

This rivalry matchup will have a lot at stake. The Tigers will look to spoil the Crimson Tide's SEC title hopes and potentially knock them out of College Football Playoff contention. Depending on how the next two weeks shake out, Alabama is one of the two-loss SEC teams with the best shot at reaching the conference championship game.

According to FanDuel, this game isn't expected to be a nail-biter. Alabama opens as the early 14.5-point favorite over Auburn. The over-under is set at a total of 52.5 points.

The Iron Bowl could very well become a blowout in Alabama's favor. The Tigers boast a 4-6 overall record with just one win against an SEC opponent thus far. Unless Auburn defeats both Texas A&M and Alabama to close out the regular season, they will not be bowl-eligible this year.

Alabama has a decent playoff resume with wins over Georgia, LSU, Missouri and South Carolina. Their two losses came at the hands of Tennessee and Vanderbilt.

Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. CT on Nov. 30 and will be aired on ABC/ESPN+.
