The Florida Everblades have announced that forward Jesse Lansdell will return for the 2025–26 season. The 25-year-old left winger is coming off a productive rookie year and will enter his third season in Estero as a reliable presence in Florida’s forward group. He is the second player signed for the 2025-26 season for the Everblades.

After a brief debut late in the 2023–24 season, Lansdell became a full-time contributor in 2024–25. He played 60 regular-season games, recording 15 goals and 24 assists for 39 points. Lansdell also had a +14 rating and 78 penalty minutes. He played a key role during the postseason, tallying a goal and six assists in 15 playoff games.

Steady Growth and Playoff Experience

Lansdell made his professional debut with the Everblades late in the 2023–24 season, appearing in six regular-season games and scoring two goals. He played a significant role during Florida’s championship run that spring, suiting up in 23 playoff games and contributing four assists, 41 penalty minutes, and a +6 rating as the Everblades captured the 2024 Kelly Cup.

Through his first two ECHL seasons, Lansdell has played in 66 regular-season games, registering 17 goals and 24 assists for 41 points, with 80 penalty minutes and a cumulative +16 rating. In the playoffs, he has appeared in 38 games, collecting one goal and 10 assists. He also had 82 penalty minutes and a +4 rating.

NCAA Background and Collegiate Development

Before turning pro, Lansdell played five NCAA seasons split between the University of Notre Dame and the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Across 176 collegiate games, he recorded 22 goals and 45 assists for a total of 67 points, while earning a reputation as a physical, defensively responsible forward with two-way upside.

Looking Ahead

Lansdell’s return gives the Everblades a playoff-tested forward with championship experience and a growing offensive impact. With back-to-back deep playoff runs and a Kelly Cup title already on his résumé, he brings a combination of grit, consistency, and versatility to Florida’s lineup.

As the Everblades continue finalizing their roster for 2025–26, Lansdell stands out as a reliable returning piece with the tools to take on an expanded role.
