Forward Tristan Ashbrook is heading overseas to Finland after spending his first three professional seasons in North America. Ashbrook, 27, spent the majority of last season with the Cincinnati Cyclones, where he put up 17 goals and 11 assists for 28 points in 40 games. He also played in 18 AHL games with four different teams, accumulating six assists. Prior to joining the Cyclones, Ashbrook began his career at the end of the 2022-23 season, where he put up one assist in five games. The following season, he joined theĀ Adirondack Thunder, where he broke out with 32 goals and 25 assists for 57 points in 62 games. He would add eight goals and eight assists for 16 points in 19 games during the 2024 Kelly Cup Playoffs.

Prior to going pro, Ashbrook played three seasons of junior hockey. He began his junior career in the NAHL, where he put up 13 goals and 21 assists for 34 points in 54 games. He would then spend the following two seasons in the USHL with the Lincoln Stars. During his time with the Stars, he put up 30 goals and 22 assists for 52 points in 109 games. Ashbrook would add a goal and two assists for three points in seven games during the 2018 USHL Playoffs.

The Manistique, Michigan, native would then take the NCAA route. He would spend his first season in the NCAA with RPI, where he put up nine goals and four assists for 13 points in 34 games. Ashbrook would then transfer to Michigan Tech, where he played his final three seasons of NCAA Hockey. In 94 games with the Huskies, he put up 28 goals and 17 assists for 45 points.
