ECHL: Ty Cheveldayoff Commits to Bowling Green

The Maine Mariners are seeing a forward head to the NCAA. Forward Ty Cheveldayoff is reportedly leaving the ECHL after 102 games and heading to Bowling Green. This past season, in 34 games for the Mariners, he had nine points on three goals and six assists. He was even in plus/minus with 106 penalty minutes. In nine playoff games, he had a goal and was a minus-one.

Cheveldayoff appeared in 36 games for the Mariners in his time in the ECHL, recording ten points on four goals and six assists. He was a plus-two. In 16 playoff games, he had a goal and an assist. He was a minus-one with 30 penalty minutes. In 2024-25, he appeared in 65 games for the Jacksonville Icemen, recording 19 points on six goals and 13 assists. He was a plus-one with a shorthanded goal and 175 penalty minutes. In two playoff games that season, he was held pointless and was even in plus/minus. Before joining the ECHL, Cheveldayoff appeared in 194 games in the Western Hockey League with the Spokane Chiefs. He would record 99 points on 43 goals and 56 assists. He was a -32 with 326 penalty minutes. In eight playoff games, he had a goal, was a minus-seven, and had 14 penalty minutes.
