Gelatt is a very skilled forward who can read the ice well. He has a lot of speed that allows him to get up and down the ice, and his smaller size allows him to get around other players. Gelatt’s defensive game is also pretty good, and he saw a lot of improvements at Holy Cross in the 2024-25 season. Gelatt is able to force turnovers really well, allowing him and his teammates to get odd-man rushes up the ice.
