The Edmonton Oilers are set to chase the Stanley Cup once more in 2025/26, and now their theme nights have been revealed for an exciting regular season.
After making the Stanley Cup Finals in back-to-back seasons but falling short, Edmonton Oilers fans are excited to get another regular season started, with things just over six weeks away from their opening matchup with the Calgary Flames.
With so much talent and some new faces on the team, the regular season promises to be exciting once again, and with so many fun nights throughout the year, the Oilers have something to offer everyone.
Now, the organization have officially announced Oilers theme nights for the regular season, with this being the full list of themed games that will take place during the regular season:
October 8 vs. Calgary - Home Opener
October 28 vs. Utah - Canadian Armed Forces Appreciation
October 30 vs. New York Rangers - Halloween
November 1 vs. Chicago - Dia de los Muertos
November 10 vs. Columbus - Remembrance Day
November 25 vs. Dallas - Hockey Fights Cancer
December 31 vs. Boston - New Year's Eve
January 3 vs. Philadelphia - Next Gen
January 20 vs. New Jersey - Indigenous Celebration
January 29 vs. San Jose - South Asian Celebration
February 3 vs. Toronto - Olympic Send-Off
March 17 vs. San Jose - St. Patrick's Day
March 19 vs. Florida - Celebrating Pride
March 28 vs. Anaheim - Celebrating Oil Country
March 31 vs. Seattle - Women in Sport
April 13 vs. Colorado - Fan Appreciation
Most of these are ones we see every year, but to celebrate things like pride night, women in hockey, Armed Forces appreciation, Indigenous celebrations and so many others is very important to different people in the crowd, showing that everyone in hockey matters.
Not only will these games be exciting, but so should most, if not all 82 of the regular season games for the Oilers, and with hopes of a return to the Stanley Cup Finals, fans should gear up for another incredible campaign.
