Thomas Frank wants to make his mark at Tottenham and build on the UEL success this season

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank is trying his best to be optimistic about this season despite the turmoil the club finds itself in off-the-pitch. The Lilywhites have managed to carve out two positive results in the first two games of the new Premier League season. And one of those wins came against the mighty Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Now, the Danish tactician will hope that his players can build on this momentum and maintain the performance levels in the upcoming games. It is fair to say that last season did not go as planned for the North London club in domestic competitions. The players looked out of place week in week out under Ange Postecoglou. And fans had lowered their expectations to the point where a draw was celebrated like Spurs had won.

However, the Lilywhites managed to silent their critics in the end by winning the Europa League against all odds. Not only that, but the constant scrutiny that the players faced from the media only made them fight for each other on the pitch and prove the doubters wrong.

Thomas Frank is loving life at Tottenham after a strong start to the season

Five goals scored and zero goals conceded in the Premier League so far. No wonder why Thomas Frank is loving life at N17, despite the mess the club is on off-the-pitch. The players are adapting well to the Danish tactician’s setup and it looks like they are fighting hard for the manager week in week out.

Now, the ex-Brentford boss has shared if he is loving life at N17 after a strong start to the season. Speaking to the BBC, Frank said,

“I loved Brentford and I am falling in love with this club here. Last season was a tough season ending on a high. I came into the club and saw a strong mentality and togetherness with the players.”

Thomas Frank has suggested that he is ‘falling in love’ with Tottenham after a good start to the new season. The Spurs manager pointed out that there is a strong togetherness in the group after the club endured a lot of scrutiny last season. And the Danish tactician is keen to maintain the harmony in the squad as Spurs prepare to compete on all four fronts this season.

This statement from Thomas Frank will be music to the ears of Tottenham fans. The Lilywhites have been longing for a manager that actually cares about the club and build a connection with the fans. And as of now, it looks like the ex-Brentford boss is treading on the right path to achieve that.
