FaZe 96, Cold Hearts 78 (FaZe leads 3-0)
Despite the Cold Hearts best efforts, FaZe proved to be unstoppable yet again, downing the Cold Hearts 96-78 on Sunday evening to move one game away from their first ever title. FaZe have now won 20 games in a row and are just one game away from completing the second ever undefeated postseason in OTE history alongside the 2022-23 City Reapers. DaKari Spear has been an absolute menace, putting up a team-high 28 points while also getting the job done on defense with a career-high four steals
Austin Goosby had another do-it-all game for FaZe, with a full stat line of 16 points, ten rebounds, three assists and three steals. The defensive engine for FaZe was Marcus Spears Jr. who finished with just one steal but otherwise could not have been more impactful to holding the Cold Hearts to below their season average for the third straight game
Before FaZe pulled away in the fourth quarter, Anderson Diaz was the star of the show, putting on a dazzling display of a game-high 36 points, eight assists and three steals. Adam Oumiddoch didn’t have his strongest scoring game, finishing with just 12 points, however, he did break Meleek Thomas’ OTE record for the most points scored in a season ⭐
FaZe will have their first opportunity to close the series in Game 4 of the OTE Finals on Thursday at 7 PM on OTE’s YouTube channel
