FaZe 90, Cold Hearts 72 (FaZe leads 1-0)
FaZe proved yet again that they are the team to beat, rattling off their 18th straight win with a 90-72 beatdown of the Cold Hearts in game one of the OTE Finals. Throughout the playoffs FaZe has been a second half team but in this one they were a first half team, holding the Cold Hearts to 27 first half points, the lowest in any half in OTE Finals history. Austin Goosby was everywhere on the floor tonight, leading the charge on both offense and defense with a full stat line of 17 points, four assists, four rebounds, two steals and two blocks
Seven Spurlock had another massive scoring game, leading the team in points with 20 points on the night, which included going an absurd 10-for-12 from two-point range. Marcus Spears Jr. continued to leave his fingerprints all over this win for FaZe, logging a complete stat line of ten points, seven rebounds, five assists and a block
For the Cold Hearts, it was Anderson Diaz who paced the team in scoring with a game-best 23 points while also continuing to command the offense with a game-high six assists. Alan Shi made his impact felt in the most minutes he has played in a game in these playoffs, posting a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds
