 FaZe 96, RWE 85

 Fear of God Athletics 101, City Reapers 87

FaZe withstood a tough test from RWE, winning 96-85 in a game of wild runs to take the season series. FaZe held a 22 point lead in the first half before seeing it all evaporate before the end of the third quarter. A strong fourth quarter got FaZe back on the right track and stopped them from repeating history after they blew a 21 point lead to RWE in their last meeting. DaKari Spear put on another rockstar performance, scoring a game-high 25 points while pulling down six boards and dishing out three assists

Austin Goosby, a five-star guard committed to Texas, made his first appearance in Atlanta for FaZe and made a nice impression with a stat line of ten points, six assists and five boards. Phoenix Woodson registered his second double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 boards, as he absolutely dominated the glass in this one

For RWE, Taylen Kinney played to his usual standard, scoring 20 points while also registering a double-double with ten boards, which marked a career-high. Parker Robinson and Romelo Hill helped RWE on their run, combining for four triples apiece in what was a shooting clinic for the duo

In the second game of the evening, Fear of God Athletics survived a scare of their own, weathering a near 15-point comeback attempt from the City Reapers to take the game 101-87. With the win, Fear of God Athletics record moves to 7-3 and they remain in a tie with FaZe for third in the standings with an opportunity to break that tie tomorrow. Cayden Daughtry has been absolutely unstoppable this year, as he moved into fourth all-time in points scored with 753 over his career, passing City Reapers legend Amari Evans 

K’Nard Callendar continues to make his case as OTE’s most underrated player, this time putting together a nice line of 27 points and seven boards while also making an absurd impact on defense with two steals and three blocks. Jacob Zhu made his ATL debut tonight, after spending most of the month in November in China playing with the Chinese National team, and made an immediate impact with 15 points and four steals

For the City Reapers, Kole Grandsion has been the leader when things have been tough and that was never more true than tonight, as he rounded out the evening with 21 points and nine boards and did everything in his power to keep the Reapers in it. It was another strong showing for the youngster Blaze Johnson, as he finished with 15 points while also splashing home three triples

There will be more OTE action tomorrow when Diamant Blazi and the City Reapers will be playing against his old team the Cold Hearts for the first time at 3 PM before the newest teams in the league, FGA and FaZe, face-off at 5 PM. All OTE games can be watched on OTE’s YouTube channel
