First Look at Jacob Elordi and Odessa Young in the Narrow Road to the Deep North

The Narrow Road to the Deep North follows an Australian doctor and prisoner of war during World War II, charting the cruelty of war, the tenuousness of life and the impossibility of love.

Ciarán Hinds, Show Kasamatsu, Masa Yamaguchi, Heather Mitchell, Simon Baker, Olivia DeJonge, and Thomas Weatherall star alongside Elordi and Young in this decades-spanning love story told in five parts.

The series is based on Richard Flanagan's novel of the same name, with Shaun Grant penning the scripts, making it his debut as a screenwriter.

Justin Kurzel, whose previous credits include True History of the Kelly Gang, Assassin's Creed and Nitram directs.

Author of the novel, Richard Flanagan, will serve as an executive producer, with Grant and Kurzel also exec producing, along with Jo Porter and Rachel Gardner. Alexandra Taussig also produces.

The series comes from Prime Video, Curio Pictures, and Sony Pictures Television.
