A 2024 Florida Gators commit is reportedly set to visit the Tennessee Vols for an upcoming SEC game.

2024 four-star defensive lineman Amaris Williams has been committed to Florida since June, but he's still taking visits.

Williams told 247Sports this week that he's visiting Florida this weekend to see if the Gators "execute" better than they did against Georgia last week.

The Clinton, NC native will then visit Ohio State on November 11 before heading to Knoxville on November 18 for Tennessee's game against Georgia. Williams noted to 247Sports that he likes the environment at Tennessee. And he has a good relationship with Vols defensive line coach Rodney Garner.

Williams, 6-foot-3/270 lbs, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 11 defensive lineman in the nation and the No. 1 player in the state of North Carolina. He's also rated as the No. 46 overall player in the 2024 recruiting class.

Tennessee currently has 20 players committed to its 2024 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 12 in the nation.
