Four-star defensive lineman Kendall Guervil is a Florida Gators target but could choose a different team when he announces his commitment on July 2.
Guervil, 6-foot-4 and 310 pounds, is a member of the 2026 recruiting class out of Fort Myers High School in Florida. He has a warm relationship with four schools, including the Florida State Seminoles, Gators, Georgia Bulldogs and Texas Longhorns, which he considers the No. 1 team, according to his 247Sports player profile.
Furthermore, Guervil went on his official visit this weekend to the Steve Sarkisian-led Longhorns and told 247Sports after his visit that they’re “Still No. 1.” This season as a junior, he was named to the News-Press Big 15 for racking up 88 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and two forced fumbles in 11 games played.
As a sophomore, Guervil recorded 49 tackles, eight tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, three fumble recoveries and a pair of forced fumbles. He also participated in weightlifting and wrestling as a multi-sport athlete.
If Guervil joins the Longhorns' 2026 recruiting class, he could be a solid addition alongside five-star quarterback Dia Bell, five-star wide receiver Jermaine Bishop, four-star defensive linemen Vodney Cleveland and Dylan Berymon.

However, if he decides to commit to the Billy Napier-coached Gators, he could be a solid addition to a 2026 recruiting class composed of four-star cornerback CJ Bronaugh, four-star wide receiver Marquez Daniel, four-star defensive lineman JaReylan McCoy and four-star wide receiver Justin Williams.
