Walter Clayton Jr. and DJ Lagway have become superstars with the Florida Gators over the past year. With the phenom Lagway taking the SEC by storm as a true freshman last season and Clayton leading Florida to a national championship on the hardwood, it's hard to remember two more recognizable figures at Florida in recent memory.

The quarterback is entering his sophomore year with Billy Napier and the Gators, as he is the full-time starter for the first time. Clayton's time in Gainesville is done after being drafted to the Utah Jazz, but his legacy will last forever.

On Tuesday, Lagway posted a commercial on his social media that introduced a new NIL deal, and it starred the two Florida icons.

The advertisement is one for Chipotle, which has Clayton narrating. It is titled "Next In Line," and shows Lagway going to order at the restaurant.

"You're next in line, bro," Clayton said in the commercial. "Next up, into the spotlight. But that's where Gators like us belong. We train for moments like this. Put in the work and eat right with real food that doesn't compromise because we don't compromise."

Clayton spent the past two years with Florida. In the 2024-25 season, he led the team in scoring with 18.3 points per game to go along with 4.2 assists and over one steal per contest. His phenomenal year ended with being the first player in program history to be named a first-team All-American.

"They're gonna push you, see if you back down," Clayton's script continued. But they're gonna find out what I already know. Gators don't back down."

As for Lagway, he excited Florida fans last year, going 6-0 in games he started and finished, totaling 1,915 passing yards and 12 touchdowns through the air.

The pair of Clayton and Lagway are already legends in Gainesville, but if the Florida football team can have a year like the basketball team did last season, Lagway would become that much more popular.
