Former Alabama wide receiver, Amari Cooper has officially signed a one-year deal with the Las Vegas Raiders, according to multiple reporters.
Cooper reunites with the Raiders franchise after originally being drafted by them as the
4th overall in the first round of the 2015 NFL draft. In his first four seasons with Oakland, Cooper reeled in 288 receptions for 4,086 total yards and 19 touchdowns before being traded to the Dallas Cowboys in 2018 during a midseason acquisition. In four and a half seasons in Dallas, Cooper continued this production by grabbing an additional 341 catches for 4,501 yards and 26 touchdowns.
In 2022, Cooper was later moved again by Dallas in a trade to the Cleveland Browns, where he recorded 174 receptions for 2,2660 yards and 16 touchdowns in three seasons with the franchise. In 2025, the veteran wideout was on the move again, being traded to the Buffalo Bills midseason. In eight games, Cooper went on to add an additional 20 catches to his resume, along with 297 yards and two touchdowns, before hitting the market as a restricted free agent this summer.
The five-time Pro Bowl receiver now takes his talents to Las Vegas to join Raiders head coach Pete Carroll for his 11th NFL season.
