The Kansas City Chiefs are doing their homework on potential pass rushing help in the 2025 NFL Draft class, and the latest name to be placed on the prospective choices board is USC edge rusher Jamil Muhammad. NFL reporter Aaron Wilson cited the Chiefs' interest in a recent post, saying they were among a number of teams also indicating an interest in Muhammad's pro potential. That list also included fellow AFC West rivals like the L.A. Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders along with the Cleveland Browns and Detroit Lions. Muhammad enters the NFL as a redshirt senior with three seasons of experience at Georgia State before transferring to the Trojans for his final two years of eligibility. In his first year at USC (2023), Muhammad turned heads with a team-leading 6.5 sacks along with 10 tackles for a loss, 4 hurries, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 interception in 12 starts.
