Former Tennessee Vols running back Alvin Kamara names the most random NASCAR track as his favorite

If you asked a large group of loyal NASCAR fans to name their favorite track, the majority of the responses would likely include places Daytona, Talladega, Bristol, Charlotte, Atlanta, Martinsville, or Texas.

Former Tennessee Vols running back Alvin Kamara, an avid NASCAR fan, had a much different response when he was recently asked to name his favorite NASCAR track.

"My favorite track, and I feel like I'm the only one that says this, I like Dover," said Kamara during an appearance on Rubbin is Racing. "I like Dover. It just feels like a high school football game."

Dover, also known as the "Monster Mile", is a one mile track in Delaware. It's held a Cup race annually since 1969.

Diehard NASCAR fans are obviously quite familiar with Dover, which was the site of the first NASCAR race after the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

Casual fans, however, are likely to overlook Dover.

Kamara erased any doubt that his NASCAR fandom is a novelty act by naming a deep cut like Dover as his favorite track on the circuit.
