Former Tennessee Vols offensive coordinator Alex Golesh capped off his impressive first season as the head coach at USF with a dominant 45-0 win against Syracuse in the Boca Raton Bowl on Thursday night.
USF finished 7-6 in Golesh's first season at the helm just a year after going 1-11 in Jeff Scott's final season as the Bulls' head coach.
After USF's beatdown of Syracuse, Golesh was interviewed on ESPN and he dropped one of the most savage lines I've heard in a post-game interview.
"We just went and whooped that ass, didn't we?" said Golesh.

It's the casualness and the little head nod at the end from Golesh that makes the delivery of that line even better.
I don't think there's any doubt that Tennessee misses Golesh's presence in Knoxville. There's a swagger that Golesh brought that enhanced Tennessee's offensive room and it was on full display on Thursday night in Florida.
