Striker Ange-Yoan Bonny says that he wants to “win everything” at Inter Milan ahead of his first season with the Nerazzurri.
The Frenchman spoke to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews.
Ange-Yoan Bonny joined Inter Milan from Parma this summer.
The Nerazzurri signed the Frenchman and reunited him with Cristian Chivu, with whom he spent several months working in Emilia-Romagna.
Bonny had spent three seasons with Parma. Last campaign was his first in Serie A.
And the 21-year-old’s form for the Gialloblu convinced Inter that he was the right player to refresh their aging attack.
Bonny is hardly likely to displace players like Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram from the Nerazzurri starting eleven right away.
However, Inter’s plan for Bonny is more long-term than that. Like all of their summer signings, they see him as a player who can grow into the team over the years to come.
Bonny gave his thoughts ahead of the start of the Serie A season. Inter begin their campaign in just a couple of days’ time, facing Torino at home in their opening match on Monday.
“I want to win everything with Inter,” said the Frenchman.
“I’m a striker,” he added, meanwhile. “And I’m available to the team.”
“There are a lot of great players here. And I can learn from everyone.”
Meanwhile, Bonny also spoke about coach Cristian Chivu, with whom he has already worked.
“He has a modern method,” he said of the Romanian coach, furthermore. “And from a personal perspective, he’s very close to his players.”
