Tottenham Hotspur have been backed to make a move for Jens Petter Hauge in the coming months.
The 25-year-old winger impressed against the north London club in the UEFA Champions League recently, and Thomas Frank has previously tried to sign him for Brentford.
Former Tottenham scout Bryan King believes that Tottenham are likely to make a move for him in January, and he could cost around £20-30 million.
“Frank will go for him (Hauge),” King said.
“I think he showed with the two goals that he scored that he is absolute quality.
“I think the money that Bodo/Glimt would be looking for would be anywhere between £20m and £30m, which would be massive money for a Norwegian club.
“That would break the record for the biggest transfer fee ever received in Norway.”
Spurs could use more quality and depth in the attacking unit, and the 25-year-old would be a useful acquisition. The move to the Premier League would be a major step up in his career as well, and he will look to prove himself at the highest level.
Convincing the winger to join the club will not be a difficult task. It would be a huge opportunity for him, and he will look to test himself in the Premier League.
It will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the next few months.
Tottenham have started the season well, and they will look to fight for trophies. They will look to secure a top-four finish in the Premier League as well. They need a deeper squad in order to do well across multiple competitions. Hauge could be a useful squad player for them.
The Norwegian has eight goals and eight assists to his name this season, and he will help Spurs improve going forward.
